Manufacturing NDT X-Ray Shooter D Shift Wed 12am to 6:00am Thu-Sat 6pm to 6am (P)

A Snapshot of Your Day

Will be performing radiographic procedures for castings. Cleans, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining repairs needed to equipment. Ensuring personnel are safe from radiation hazards. Maintains radiographic supplies, plates, and equipment. Shooters retrieve component requirements from work order and special instruction in notes as to the image requirements per component type. Will be in the Gibsonton Florida Location.

How You’ll Make an Impact

- Checking and reporting any Safety opportunities or near-misses.

- Opening work instructions to ensure proper process, tools, and methods will be used.

- Examining finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications and moving processed parts to the next area.

- Maintain the flow and quality of parts produced continuously performing improvement analysis

- Communicating effectively with supervisors, quality inspectors and operators.

- Other duties may be assigned and cross-training as needed.

What You Bring

- Evidence of High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

- Knowledge of or interest in industrial machinery and ability to perform basic math functions using the metric system.

- Ability to read Engineering instructions. X-Ray machine operation experience is a plus.

- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

- This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
