Position Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / Project Manager who can own engineering projects from customer design review through production. This role blends engineering, process development, and hands‑on manufacturing support. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage engineering projects from start to finish with tight timelines

- Review customer drawings and determine efficient manufacturing methods

- Create complete job packages (drawings, inspection requirements, laser/press brake programs, finishing instructions)

- Design fixtures, assembly aids, and inspection tools

- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency

- Support material purchasing and inventory planning

- Perform first article inspections and support PPAP documentation

- Assist with quality investigations and corrective actions

- Update and maintain job logs and production documentation

- Support production teams and operate/learn equipment as needed (laser, saw, press brake, machining, etc.)

Qualifications Required

- 1–3 years in engineering, manufacturing, or a technical role

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills

- Ability to work independently and act quickly with accuracy

- Strong organization and attention to detail

- Ability to read and interpret drawings (including weld and dimensional requirements)

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- SolidWorks & CAD experience

- Valid driver’s license

Preferred

- Experience with higher‑volume production

- Ability to assemble drawing packages for production

- Experience with or willingness to learn equipment programming (laser, press brake, machine programs)

- Comfort learning new software and equipment interfaces
