Manual Machinist (1 year of Experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and manufacturing processes, with the ability to operate various types of machinery and tools. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Manual Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications.

Responsibilities

Position will require working with manual mills, manual lathes, hydraulic presses, straightening materials, welding and grinding. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, work with fractions, decimals sometimes metric, able to use precision measuring and gauging tools. Any CNC lathe experience is a plus but not required. Having experience in all areas is not expected to be hired, but must have a good amount of what the job requires, willing to learn, self-motivated, mechanically inclined and able to lift 50 pounds. This is not a full time one machine operator position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
