Manager, Manufacturing & Engineering (Oil & Gas)

Solstice Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Manager, Manufacturing & Engineering for an oil & gas equipment manufacturing client in the Lafayette, Louisiana metropolitan area. Our client designs and builds production equipment to serve the onshore oil & gas and EPC industry sectors. This role is responsible for manufacturing operations, engineering and QHSE.

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of related experience required

o MBA a plus

- 7+ years of management and engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required

- Experience and knowledge of upstream and midstream operations

- Base salary range: $140k - $160k DOE plus bonus opportunity and benefits

- Relocation assistance may be available if not local

Role Overview:

The Manager, Mfg & Engineering will be responsible for oversight of manufacturing operations, engineering and QHSE (including P&L and cost management) for the company and oversee a total staff of approximately 20.

- Oversee production planning and scheduling across the company

- Work with managers to manage people and financial resource allocation to meet budgetary goals

- Ensure safety and quality standards and delivery commitments are met (HSEQ)

- Drive operational efficiency, lean manufacturing implementation and cost management

- Develop and improve processes within the organization

- Build relationships with key suppliers, customers and partners

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of related experience required

- MBA a plus

- 7+ years of management and engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required

- Experience and knowledge of upstream and midstream operations

- Strong process and project management experience required

- Leadership in HSEQ, P&L, resource needs, supply chain and operations
