The Manager, IT Infrastructure and Operations, is accountable for the stability, security, and evolution of the organization’s global IT infrastructure and operational services. This role leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, end‑user computing, network services, and operational technology (OT/ICS) integration, ensuring high availability, resilience, and alignment with business objectives.
The successful candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong technical depth, operational discipline, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure technology solutions.
- Lead and manage global IT Infrastructure & Operations teams, including Service Desk, Tier 2/3 support, infrastructure engineering, and platform services
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise systems including servers, storage, virtualization, networks, and end‑user platforms
- Own infrastructure lifecycle management including design, implementation, optimization, and retirement
- Oversee Microsoft‑centric environments including M365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, Citrix, and endpoint platforms
- Drive cloud adoption and hybrid infrastructure strategies while maintaining operational stability
- Ensure standardized builds, patching, configuration management, and automation across platforms
- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure aligns with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., ITIL, NIST, SOX)
- Support vulnerability management, incident response, audit activities, and vendor risk assessments
- Ensure operational controls, monitoring, and logging are in place across infrastructure services
- Establish and enforce IT operational standards, processes, and service management practices
- Own incident, problem, and change management outcomes to meet SLAs and business expectations
- Drive continuous improvement through metrics, root cause analysis, and automation
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing technical team across multiple disciplines
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders, application teams, OT/ICS teams, and external vendors
- Communicate technical risk, trade‑offs, and roadmaps clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Contribute to and execute multi‑year infrastructure and operations roadmaps
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations aligned with business strategy
- Manage budgets, licensing, and vendor relationships for infrastructure services
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience in infrastructure and operations within complex, distributed environments - 3+ years of people leadership experience managing technical teams- Strong expertise in:
- Microsoft enterprise platforms (M365, Azure, AD, Windows Server)
- Networking and infrastructure fundamentals
- Virtualization, storage, and end‑user computing
- Experience operating in regulated or security‑sensitive environments
- Proven ability to manage operational risk while enabling business agility
