HTC Products LLC is a dynamic, growing business serving customers in the Oil & Gas distribution space. Due to an internal promotion, HTX is recruiting a Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence across our organization. This energetic position offers the opportunity to lead the key aspect of management accounting in an SME industrial environment. - Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and cash flow analysis.
- Perform internal controls testing and assist with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance to uphold financial integrity.
- Provide year-end financial information to US tax advisors
- Utilize advanced accounting software within our state-of-the-art ERP system, Epicor Prophet 21 and other financial tools for efficient data management.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account reconciliation tasks regularly to maintain accurate records.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing technical knowledge on topics like accrual accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial concepts.
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred. Note, support will be given to candidate seeking to further their accounting qualifications
- Experience in bookkeeping, management accounting and financial reporting, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector or a similarly complex industry.
- Outstanding cash management skills, including excellent high level and operational relationship management with both customers and suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communicator with a collaborative approach to team leadership and cross functional relationships.
- Desirable but not essential skills and experience
o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
o Experience using Epicor Prophet 21 or similar system
o Understanding the key financial aspects of an importing business to business distribution company.
o Knowledge of companies operating in the US O&G marketplace.
o Understanding of EDI and AI accounting tools
o Familiar with operating in an AR financing environment
