Maintenance Field Supervisor

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for oil production facilities in the Carlsbad, NM area. This role combineshands-on mechanical work withsupervisory duties, including managing contract lease crews and ensuring production equipment is properly maintained and operational. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background in oilfield production equipment, proven leadership skills, and a stable work history.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of contract lease crews performing maintenance on production sites.

- Perform or oversee maintenance and repairs on a variety of production equipment, including:

- Dump valves

- Level controllers

- Back pressure valves

- Order and track necessary materials, tools, and parts for field repairs and upgrades.

- Assist pumpers/operators with troubleshooting field production equipment issues.

- Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety standards and operational best practices.

- Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and crew performance.

- Communicate with field operations and engineering teams to support continuous production.

Qualifications:

- Supervisory experience required – must have led or managed field or contract crews.

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience in oil & gas production environments.

- Strong understanding of production equipment operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with mechanical components such as valves, level controllers, and pressure systems.

- Must be based in or near Pecos, TX, or willing to relocate.

- Stable work history demonstrating reliability and long-term commitment.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
