Logistics Coordinator

Job Description: Logistics Coordinator - Inbound & Outbound Operations

Position Overview: The Logistics Coordinator will manage both inbound and outbound warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials, maintaining proper records, and supporting warehouse administration. This role requires close coordination with warehouse personnel, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and project contacts.

Inbound Operations

· Record inbound container details into the Quality Control (QC) tracking spreadsheet.

· Verify each inbound container against its detailed packing list to ensure accuracy.

· Inspect incoming goods for shipping or handling damage and report discrepancies.

· Coordinate with warehouse personnel to properly store checked and approved materials.

Outbound Operations & Project Deliveries

· Communicate with project receiver points-of-contact (POC) to confirm NBD (Need-By-Date) accuracy before dispatching shipments.

· Order truckloads from 3PL carriers to meet project delivery schedules.

· Prepare delivery checklists according to each project’s bill of materials and delivery content.

· Source, stage, and prepare racks and related materials prior to truck pickup.

· Add required anchor bolts to each outgoing shipment.

· Print and provide delivery checklists and Bills of Lading (BOL) for truck drivers; obtain trucker signatures before departure.

· Coordinate with 3PLs, truckers, and receivers in case of delivery schedule or routing changes.

Tracking & Reporting

· Maintain the Global Racking Delivery Status spreadsheet to track project delivery progress for internal reporting to management

· Update and manage the Logistics Plan spreadsheet.

Warehouse Administration & Support

· Maintain and manage the uAttend or other clock-in/clock-out systems for warehouse personnel.

· Compile and submit weekly or bi-weekly working-hour reports to staffing partners

· Manage stationery and office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for warehouse operations.

Qualifications

· Prior experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.

· Strong organizational and communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
