Job Summary:

The job holder will be a member of the Pellet crew, responsible for distribution on the water softening product lines.

Please note that the candidate will be required to successfully complete a background check and medical/audio exam upon offer acceptance. Windsor Salt is a unionized facility (Unifor Local 1959); the successful candidate will be required to join the union upon commencement of employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The job holder will be responsible for:

- Safe operation of automated and mobile equipment

- Monitoring and troubleshooting of equipment

- Effectively communicating with the production and maintenance teams

- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

- Contributing to the operations team by accomplishing other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- 3-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing and processing environment

- Experience with automated and mobile equipment will be considered an asset

- Minimum high school diploma, post-secondary education, or other certifications will be considered an asset

The starting rate for this position is $33.70 per hour. Increases are in accordance with the CBA. This posting is for a current vacancy. Windsor Salt does not require Canadian work experience and does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen or assess applicants.
