Lead Specialist - Health, Environment, and Safety (HES)

Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. Position Summary:

Sunoco LP is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Health, Environment, and Safety (HES) Lead Specialist to manage our corporate Learning Management System (LMS) and support compliance and technical training initiatives across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring that all personnel meet regulatory training requirements under DOT, EPA, OSHA, and USCG standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of progressive HES experience, with a strong background in technical training, data analytics, regulatory frameworks, and LMS administration.

Major Accountabilities:

+ Maintain accurate training records and ensure system integrity for audits and compliance reporting. + Leverage system capabilities to automate workflows, generate dashboards, and improve user experience. + Translate complex regulatory and technical content into engaging, accessible training materials. + Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of training content. + Provide coaching and support to field trainers and supervisors on effective training delivery methods. + Monitor training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics. + Generate and analyze training reports and compliance metrics using advanced data analytics tools. + Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement through data-driven insights. + Serve as a resource for technical and compliance training inquiries across the organization.

+ Occasional travel (approximately 10–20%) to field locations, training sites, and company facilities is required to support training delivery and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications:

+ Strong data analytics skills, including experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for reporting and visualization. + Familiarity with systems integration, automation, and digital training platforms. + Deep knowledge of DOT, EPA, OSHA, and USCG regulations. + Strong organizational and project management abilities. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
