Lead Generator Field Service Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Generator Technician to join our

team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in generator systems

and diesel engines, along with proven leadership capabilities. This role is responsible

for performing maintenance and repair services while supervising a team of technicians

to ensure outstanding service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Extensive knowledge of power generators across a wide range of makes and models

- Strong understanding of diesel engines and related systems

- Comprehensive knowledge of transfer switches and switchgear

- Strong electrical diagnostic and repair abilities

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Exceptional time management and organizational skills

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Clean background check and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- EGSA Certification

- Generac Training

- Kohler Training

- Cummins Training

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of generator

systems

- Lead, supervise, and support a team of 3–5 generator technicians, ensuring high-

quality work and adherence to safety standards

- Assist team members with troubleshooting and complex repairs as needed

- Collaborate with office staff to coordinate accurate parts ordering and maintain

proper inventory levels

- Work closely with office personnel and the sales team to ensure timely scheduling of

maintenance and repair services

- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and provide coverage as needed for

emergency service requests

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
