Journeyman & Apprentice Shop Service Technician

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position is responsible for the service and repair of various natural gas engine and compressor packages, in shop as well as in field as required. We are a licenced mechanic shop. Duties will include servicing all types of vehicles and trailers, commercial, agricultural & recreational. Responsibilities:

- Natural gas engine and screw compressor maintenance, trouble shooting, overhauls as required, complete mechanical services to commercial vehicles and trailers as well as personal and recreational trailers.

- Maintain a respectful relationship with customers

- Ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders

- Follow and enforce safe work procedures in the work place

Qualifications:

- Apprenticeship OR Journeyman Heavy Equipment Certificate and/or Journeyman Millwright Certificate and/or Journeyman Automotive Tech

- A minimum of 5 years industry experience

- Natural gas compression experience is an asset, but will train as needed

- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize jobs and tasks accordingly

- All required safety tickets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:
