In this role, you will:

- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

- Responsible for data interrogation of weekly quality performance using multiple platforms, such as Power BI

- Research project on influence of mineralogy on coking performance, including sampling, coordinating testing with external labs and interpretation of results

- Present at weekly meetings with mine site teams on quality performance

- Compile and deliver monthly quality performance of Operations to technical marketing team

- Participate in lab audits

- Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business

Requirements:

- Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Geology, Chemical or Process Engineering

- A valid Class 5 Driver's License or extra-provincial equivalent, without learner's restrictions

- Motivated self-starters with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously

- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate and present complex ideas and technical information to all levels

- Motivated self-starters with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously

- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and to build relationships across multi-disciplinary technical teams

- Good trouble shooting, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities

- Strong computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite® package: Excel, Word, and Outlook
