We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Duties

•

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

•

Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing surfaces.

•

Carry out commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas.

•

Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

•

Maintain cleanliness of facilities through regular inspections and prompt attention to spills or hazards.

•

Support porter duties by moving furniture or equipment as required for events or maintenance activities.

•

Engage in residential painting projects when necessary, ensuring quality finishes.

•

Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.

•

Adhere to all safety protocols while performing custodial tasks.

Requirements

•

Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.

•

Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.

•

Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and materials is beneficial.

•

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

•

Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•

Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines in all tasks performed.
