Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role involves both routine and specialized cleaning tasks, including industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance.
Duties
•
Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
•
Conduct industrial cleaning tasks to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
•
Carry out floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
•
Assist with residential painting projects as needed to maintain facility aesthetics.
•
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
•
Perform custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
•
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
•
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
•
Previous experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred.
•
Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is an advantage.
•
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
•
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
•
Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
•
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
•
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.
