Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
•
Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
•
Conduct industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance to ensure all spaces are clean and well-maintained.
•
Execute floor care duties such as buffing, mopping, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
•
Handle commercial cleaning tasks with efficiency and thoroughness.
•
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or maintenance needs.
•
Assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance facility aesthetics.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
•
Perform porter duties including waste disposal and recycling management.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required.
•
Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
•
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
•
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed for cleaning tasks.
•
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•
Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and facility users.
•
Willingness to work flexible hours as required by the facility's needs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:

Monday to Friday
