Job Description:

The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning the assigned area per client requirements and or instructions from D Squared Facilities Management staff. This person will be responsible for keeping the assigned area clean, sanitized and organized to meet client requirements. The Janitor will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment in accordance with all OSHA regulations.

Other key duties include:

- Empty trash cans and recycling cans

- Clean restrooms according to all standards set by the client

- Sweep and mopping floors throughout the facility as needed

- Assisting in storage areas kept tidy and putting orders away

- Follow all safety policies and procedures

- Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as on your own

- Ability to make independent decisions

- Follow written and verbal directions

- Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude toward your co-workers and management

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Looking for reliable part time evening team players. Most work is independent. Must be able to work well with others. Reliable transportation a must. Locations in Lansing and Okemos area. Willingness to work at multiple locations in an evening. The more you are willing to learn the better advancement opportunities.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
