We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Duties

•

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.

Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

•

Carry out custodial responsibilities in both residential and commercial settings, addressing specific cleaning needs as they arise.

•

Maintain floor care through regular buffing and polishing of surfaces to enhance appearance and longevity.

•

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

•

Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use.

•

Provide porter services as needed, including moving furniture or equipment within the facility.

Qualifications

•

Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.

•

Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus.

•

Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail in all tasks performed.

•

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while completing assigned duties.

•

Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.

•

Physical stamina is required for performing cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
