About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

You’ll stay in private rooms with individual washrooms, enjoy balanced meals prepared by our exceptional culinary team, and have access to a 24-hour snack and sandwich bar. Your Impact

As a Janitor at our Brucejack operation, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our team. Your work ensures a comfortable and safe living space, supporting the well-being and efficiency of all onsite personnel. This is a six-month contract with an opportunity for extension based on performance and business needs.

As Part of Our Team, You Will

- Clean and sanitize common areas, including bathrooms and shared spaces

- Receive and distribute supplies as needed

- Assist housekeeping on high-changeover days (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

- Maintain inventory and ensure areas are stocked

- Follow all safety protocols, including WHMIS and PPE guidelines

- Report any equipment issues or needed repairs

Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role

- High school diploma or GED

- WHMIS certification

- 1+ year of experience in an institutional or industrial setting

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 10-hour shifts

- Willingness to work in a remote camp on a 13 days on / 13 days off rotation

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical screening

- Travel allowance and transportation arrangements provided

- Rotational schedule: 13 days on / 13 days off

The Brucejack Mine Operations team is now recruiting for the position of Janitor with a competitive CAD$31.19/hour, on a six-month term. The offered base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies, with consideration to internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is CA$31.19/hour . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia.
