ITH & Longhole Drillers

FORACO CANADA Ltd., an international drilling company serving the Canadian mineral exploration market, is currently accepting resumes for experienced and certified ITH (In-The-Hole) and Longhole Drillers to join our underground mining team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety is the essential to a successful career. Responsibilities will include but not limited to perform and support the drilling operations such as receiving the daily crew line up, completing pre-op checks and check sheets as required; inspecting the work place and eliminating and correcting any hazards by following all prints and drilling instructions provided by the Engineering Department. Duties will also include prepping the work place, clean and ream holes, drilling production holes for long hole stopes, drilling service holes as requested, install or take down services and vent, operate and maintain tools and equipment as required, maintaining proper housekeeping.

Requirements:

- A valid Common Core Certificate with associated Drilling Modules is considered an asset

- Proven experience operating ITH and/or Longhole drills in underground mining environments, minimum 1 year

- Strong focus on safety, productivity, and quality workmanship

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding underground conditions

- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required

Training / Other Requirements:

- First Aid/CPR

- WHMIS 2015

- Valid Driver's License
