Overview of the IT System Administrator

The IT Systems Administrator will be the first point of contact for staff, troubleshooting technical, hardware, and software issues and escalating as needed. This role sets up and maintains required IT support and infrastructure, ensuring reliable system performance. The administrator will support users across the Stoughton, Madison, and remote locations while collaborating with the IT team on network design, implementation, and the ongoing ERP migration (GP to SAP).

Some of the key responsibilities of the IT System Administrator

- Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, printers, IP phones, and other communications devices.

- Perform initial troubleshooting and solutions to issues related to computer systems and networking/communication devices, including hardware and software.

- Prioritize IT jobs and escalate issues to the right people when necessary.

- Set up and support users with Office 365 use and SharePoint access.

- Collaborate with management teams to ensure smooth operation of IT systems.

- Manage and support security camera systems, alarm systems, and door access control.

- Assist ongoing ERP (GP and SAP) project

Qualifications of the IT System Administrator.

- Computer science or equivalent

- Minimum 3-5 years of IT help desk or support experience.

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with network (CISCO) and systems administration.

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with Office 365 and SharePoint.

- Experience with Windows servers and Active Directory.
