IT Project Manager

About This Job

Responsibilities:

•

Work with SMEs to build and validate business scenarios

•

Manage one or more IT Apps and Infrastructure projects

•

Lead and facilitate meetings and discussions to elicit business requirements to define and deliver system solutions.

•

Proactively manage Stakeholder engagement to ensure buy in and support of Project

•

Articulate the problem statement and openly bring up challenges, roadblocks and impediments; Negotiate, influence and drive solutions with team members for tactical and strategic enterprise business capabilities

•

Provide flexible and collaborative work approach to solve complex problems meeting customer specific requirements

•

Ensure solutions are following company policies and procedures or direct impact on the re-design of existing policies and procedures

•

Establish and oversee effective issue resolution, change control, and risk management processes

•

Create and maintain comprehensive project plan

•

Manage compilation of schedule, status, and metric updates at project and team levels, Report appropriately to all levels of governance

•

Gather requirements from business users, IT professionals, etc.

•

Synthesize business requirements across functional departments

•

Work interactively across Business and IT teams to support development of business solutions

•

Coordinate integration activities with external applications

•

Manage cross functional testing impacting multiple groups and applications

•

Help support the IT Admins by prioritizing and assigning the tickets for faster resolution

•

Assist in coordination of Security Configuration and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

•

Perform risk management to minimize project risks

•

Perform other related duties as assigned

•

Work with external vendors as needed

Education and Training

•

High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.

•

Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

Expectations

•

Proven working experience in project management

•

Overseeing the conception, planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects that can range from infrastructure upgrades to digital transformations.

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•

Managing client expectations

•

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

•

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

•

Project Management Professional (PMP) or SCRUM certification is a plus

Work Environment / Conditions:
