Inventory Control Specialist Assistant

Meeker Equipment Co., LLC, an asphalt plant equipment manufacturer and distributor, headquartered in Belleville, PA, has an immediate opening for an Inventory Control Specialist Assistant. Meeker Equipment produces material handling equipment, liquid handling equipment and related process equipment for the asphalt, aggregates, concrete, and petroleum industries. This position will be responsible for keeping inventories accurate through receiving, inspecting, shipping of small parts, staging of production supplies, and inventory cycle counts. The right candidate will be a responsible, self-motivated individual with a high attention to details. They will be well organized, able to use/learn computer software programs, be good at multitasking, and work well alone or in a team environment. Specific qualifications for this position are:

- Shipping/receiving experience required

- Basic understanding of Warehousing

- PC literate with experience in MS Office

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Able to lift 50 pounds

- Be able to use hand and small power tools

- Be able to properly use a tape measure
