Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Control Manager to oversee and optimize inventory operations across our organization. This role is responsible for managing inventory accuracy, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer and business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, data analysis, and team leadership.


Key Roles / Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures and systems.
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to ensure optimal stock availability.
Collaborate with procurement, production, sales, and warehouse teams to align inventory management with business demands.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Implement inventory tracking systems and technologies to improve visibility and accuracy.
Lead, train, and supervise inventory control staff, ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.
Manage inventory discrepancies, investigate root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
Prepare and present inventory reports and KPIs to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.


Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations.
Proven leadership experience with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and efficiency.
Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.


Working Conditions:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
Moves throughout the building to access files.
Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
