Job description for the position of Production Control Administrator
Lusk Quality, a leader in high volume precision turning and machining, is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Administrator. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting Production and Operations by maintaining accurate inventory levels of raw materials, materials in production (WIP) and finished goods. This multifaceted position requires a meticulous and detailed individual who can create and document inventory control processes, methods and systems, have a detailed understanding of a warehouse management process FIFO & FEFO. Must possess a strong understanding of manufacturing principles. The Inventory Control Administrator will coach, mentor and develop Material Handlers, Expeditors, Logistics and Customer Service to meet all inventory requirements in place while observing established safety protocols. A leader of a team of about 8-10 employees.

2. Manage the cycle count process both scheduled and on demand
3. Schedule the receiving of raw material, receive and put away or issue. Ensure picking accuracy

5. Accurate shipment and receiving of part sent to outside processing
6. Accurate inbound processing of received returns (RMAs)
7. Timely processing of all receivings including shipments and parcels
1. Maintain accurate inventory levels of job cards as parts move across all operations. Make necessary adjustments within 1 business day
2. Manage the cycle count process both scheduled and on demand
1. Material Handlers – not direct reports but directs them
2. Customer Service – This includes Expeditors, Logistics and Customer Communication
a. Obtain from team forecast of order due dates and production completion
b. Help develop plan to meet shipping requirements
d. Oversee the strategic transfer of parts to outside processing that observes MOQ while production is still processing
e. Obtain and oversee internal performance of transactions related to outside processing including: due dates, quantities (partial & full), completion. Make decisions accordingly
a. Management of timely departure of inhouse truck. This includes prep, timeline review of documents, add on stops, set up a route. Analyze impacts of delay of departure, reroutes and added stops
b. Manage team for adherence to work instructions, training material, employee handbook

- High School diploma AND AA Degree or completed trade school study relevant toward supply chain or warehousing
- 3 years of experience working in a highly dynamic, metric driven manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role. Preferably overseeing warehousing, distribution, order processing in a highly dynamic, metric driven, environment.
- Strong / proven organizational, written and verbal communication skills, required to supervise multiple team members at more than 1 facility.
