TACTICAL & STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The Inside Sales Manager will lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring efficient sales operations. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for coaching, performance management, and strategic planning within the inside sales department, working closely with the sales team & other departments to promote and sell our diverse range of alloys.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
•Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of inside sales representatives
•Conduct regular one-on-one and group coaching sessions / performance reviews
•Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
•Foster a positive and results-oriented team environment
Sales Strategy & Execution
•Develop and implement inside sales strategies to achieve company goals and individual sales targets.
•Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions as needed
•Collaborate with the Business Development Team and other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and alignment of sales efforts
•Identify new business opportunities and market segments for growth
Customer Relationship Management
•Oversee the inside sales team's efforts in building and maintaining strong customer relationships
•Manage your own book of business including Key Accounts
•Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any escalated customer issues
•Work with the team to understand customer needs and provide appropriate product solutions from our product / services range
•Periodic travel to meet with high-level clientele in coordination with Business Development
Operational Excellence
•Optimize inside sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness
•Ensure accurate and timely order processing and communication
•Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and generate reports
•Stay informed about product specifications and industry trends related to steel, nickel, & aluminum alloys
QUALIFICATIONS
•Minimum of 3 years of industrial sales experience (preferably in stainless steel products)
•Significant knowledge of metals / metals industry
•Ability to successfully manage & motivate a sales team
•An energetic personality with a customer-oriented mindset and a willingness to go above and beyond expectations
•The ability to read, write, and speak English and to effectively & professionally communicate with customers, employees, and management
•Good mathematical and mechanical aptitude
•The ability to efficiently use Microsoft Excel, Word,
•Prior experience with Gmail based e-mail & suite of tools (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Calendar, etc.)
