Independent Contract Truckers - Must Own Truck/Walking Floor Trailer

Dapp Power LP is a green energy producer of electricity achieved through fuel provided from various regional producers. The position of Lease Operator supports the Trucking Coordinator in meeting hauling demands as scheduled with mills with Edmonton, Whitecourt and Slave Lake areas. As the Lease Operator you will provide transportation services for hog fuel using your supplied walking floor tractor/trailer units. The unit will be assigned travel routes daily. Lease operator will be expected to haul in at least 1000 tonnes/month minimum. Dapp Power LP will not be liable for unforeseen product short falls or force majeure events.

Must own and operate a truck and walking floor trailer to apply.

Requirements:

- Clear communication and understanding of English (written and verbal)

- Clean driving record and driver's abstract and no criminal record

- At least two years minimum highway driving experience within Canada

- Experience with managing logbooks in accordance with Alberta Trucking Safety Standards

- Candidates should have tarping experience with walking floor trailers however we will offer training to the right candidate

- Supplies fuel, maintenance and walking trailer to ensure unit availability to meet a minimum of 1000 metric tonnes/month.

- Must be able to pass drug screening

- Positive and hardworking attitude

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and multi-tasking environment

- Wheel Loader experience minimum 3 years
