The HR Generalist role is crucial in managing a diverse set of human resources functions, effectively bridging the gap between employees and management. The HR Generalist responsibilities span recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, pay administration, benefits administration, performance management, trainingdevelopment, and overall employee relations all while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws. Additionally, the HR Generalist role is instrumental in fostering a positive work environmentculture for both on-site and remote employees.
Managing the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to interviewing and onboarding new hires. Conducting background checks / drug testing and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
Providing new hires with an orientation to the company, its policies, and their roles.
Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
Conduct investigations and providing guidance on employee relations matters.
Assisting with salary negotiations and contract management. 4. Performance Management:
Supporting annual performance evaluations including feedback to employees.
Identifying training needs and coordinating employee development programs.
Keeping up to date with changes in employment law.
Participating in the development of HR strategies and initiatives.
Leveraging people analytics to understand employee trends and improve HR practices.
Fostering positive employee relations and promoting a positive work environmentculture.
Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations facilities.
