Position Summary
The HR Generalist will provide critical support across the full spectrum of HR functions, partnering with business units and field teams to deliver consistent, compliant, and engaging employee experience. This role will support both corporate and field operations, requiring agility, discretion, and a service-oriented mindset.
You’ll work closely with HR leadership and other stakeholders to ensure HR practices align with company goals, all while supporting a geographically distributed workforce in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Compensation range is $60-90k depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities Talent & Workforce Support
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless employee experiences
- Maintain HRIS (UKG) data integrity across a multi-state workforce
- Coordinate focused recruitment activities
- Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies and practices
- Support employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation
- Assist with risk mitigation efforts, audits, and reporting
- Support open enrollment, benefits education, and day-to-day benefit administration
- Coordinate with payroll and benefits vendors on employee updates and changes
- Respond to HR inquiries related to leave, pay, and benefits with accuracy and timeliness
- Help implement HR initiatives related to engagement, performance management, and training
- Contribute to process improvement efforts and documentation of HR workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role
- Familiarity with employment law, HR operations, and multi-state compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to support both corporate and field teams
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Experience supporting a distributed or field-based workforce
- Prior experience in private equity–backed or high-growth companies
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred

Physical Demands
Duties are performed in an office environment.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
