With its roots in the aerospace industry and manufacturing facilities in California & Olive Branch, MS. and numerous Service Center locations nationally and internationally. Our company is experiencing phenomenal growth and we are looking for a dynamic Senior HR Generalist to join our HR team!

The Sr. Human Resources Generalist is responsible for proactively managing all human resources functions including full cycle recruitment, payroll and benefit administration. They will work directly with executive and mid-level management to provide advice and counsel regarding employee relations, human resources best practices, policies and regulations. The Sr. HR Generalist will have a solid understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws and how they pertain to a manufacturing environment. Additionally, they will conduct monthly safety training/education meetings, maintain and post quarterly and annual OSHA reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Acts as a support service for front line staff, managers, and supervisors in regards to all HR issues.
Works closely with the leadership team to review and improve current systems including the development and revision of policies and procedures.
Provides guidance and support to managers and supervisors on human resources-related issues and responds to inquiries regarding personnel policies, procedures, and employee information.
Coordinates investigations as a result of staff complaints, and recommends course of action, including requisite documentation, and or interviews related to disciplinary actions, including, coaching, warnings, performance improvement plans and terminations.
Oversees benefit administration including health, life, dental, vision, STD, LTD, life insurance, 401(k) plan, COBRA, leaves of absence (FMLA, CFRA, Pregnancy Disability, etc.), unemployment insurance, and ensures prompt and accurate information is communicated to employees.
Guides DMC Power’s management team on all compliance, human resource activities and associated State, Federal and Local Laws (i.e. COBRA, Wage & Hour, EEOC, Workers Comp, ADA, FMLA, CFRA, etc.)
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies
Maintain accurate employee records, manage ADP data, and assist in payroll related tasks.
Other duties may be assigned as needed or required


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Minimum of three to five years of administrative experience in a (preferably) manufacturing setting or one year in HR. Must be able to act in an ethical manner and maintain highly confidential and proprietary information.

· Must possess well-developed written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Must possess strong organizational and attention to detail abilities.

· Must have the ability to handle and resolve confidential/sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy and maintain a professional demeanor.

· Must have the ability to work well with deadlines and quickly adapt to changing priorities.

· Proficient in use of MS Word, and Excel

· Must have the ability to work well with deadlines and quickly adapt to changing priorities.


Experience using ADP Workforce Now payroll system

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5 pm. This is a Full-Time Exempt position, and the employee is expected to work approximately 40 hours per week.
