The Human Resources (HR) Generalist role will support the organization as HR Operations Business Partner to fulfill a variety of necessary human resources tasks within the region. This includes recruitment, new hire processing, benefits communications, guidance on company policies and procedures, and maintaining the accuracy of employee data utilizing the company HRIS (UltiPro/UKG) software.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Main support in the region for all human resources operations needs including recruitment, new hire processing, benefits communications, guidance on company policies and procedures, and maintaining the accuracy of employee data utilizing the company HRIS (UltiPro/UKG) software.
- Ensure all HR practices and policies comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with staffing coordinator to support region recruitment for all level positions, interview assistance, verifying work-history, references, and communication with candidates.
- Manage new hire onboarding procedures, including organizing employee pre-employment processes, new hire orientation, administering employee documents through UKG, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly completed and submitted within designated time frames.
- Foster positive employee relations and be on point when employee issues surface and are brought to the attention of the HR department.
- Monitor and improve HR processes and procedures within the region to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Assist with employee termination procedures including communicating any details to appropriate personnel.
- Uphold confidentiality of all employee records of information.
- Work with senior leadership to align HR Strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
- Support special projects and corporate HR management as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or equivalent combination of experience and education; HR Certification preferred (PHR/SHRMCP).
- 6+ years of related human resources management work knowledge and experience.- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including experience with HRIS, and ATS database systems; UKG software preferred/plus.
- Experience with HR legal compliance; Wage and Hour, EEOC, FMLA, DOL, etc.
- Working knowledge of payroll processing, data collection, analysis, and ability to evaluate.

- Strong communication skills - verbal and written; attentive listener.

- Bilingual- Spanish required.
- Salary Range - $63,400-$85,800 annually
