POSITION SCOPE
The Human Resources Business Partner assists the Human Resource Manager with the day-to-day administration of the Human Resource Department. Their role is to ensure that HR practices support the organization's goals and align with business objectives. HRBPs are responsible for a variety of tasks. The position requires strict confidentiality and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
PRIMARY DUTIES
•Ensure proper on-boarding of new hires of new employees and understand Company's benefit programs to facilitate effective utilization and understanding of all programs
•Assist the Human Resources Department with computerized tracking of all employee data files
•Knowledge and effective communication of company policy and procedure
•Benefit Administration; working directly with insurance vendors, processing vendor payments, processing census, enrollment and termination of employee benefits
•Assist employees regarding all employment and benefit issues
•Assist with the process of FMLA, ADA and processing of Insurance Claims (i.e. Disability, Accident) as needed
•Assist in HR compliance and benefit audits
•Contribute to day-to-day administration of department and assist with HR projects and reporting as needed
•Prepare and/or process all personal transaction forms and materials verifying the completeness of documents before filing
•Processing unemployment claims
•Assist with the administration of the substance abuse policy
•Assist in termination process including submission of required documentation
•Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
•HR Generalist 1-3 years of experience
•College degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or 3+ years of related experience (Preferred)
•Self-starter with problem solving capabilities
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS
•Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
•Flexibility to occasionally work overtime and participate in overnight travel when needed or directed
