We are looking for a full-time HR Business Partner.
•This position is located onsite and is not a remote or hybrid position.
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in locations. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business acumen about its culture, values, goals and its competition.
Responsibilities/Job Description:
•Consults with management, providing risk assessed HR guidance as needed.
•Independently analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the Petaluma HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
•Independently manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Leads effective, thorough and objective investigations.
•Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
•Proactively provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
•Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, employee engagement, build morale, and increase productivity and retention through new processes and projects.
•Conducts weekly meetings with location management.
•Provides HR policy and compliance guidance and interpretation.
•Leads onboarding for new hires, promotions and transfers.
•Identifies training needs for their location and individual management coaching needs.
•Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
•Management of Recruitment processes from beginning to end.
•Coordinates safety initiatives and processes with Corporate Safety Manager
•Independently provides strategic support the on-site management team as needed
•This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for managers and employees at their location.
•Provide tactical support as needed to ensure seamless execution of HR operations including but not limited to the following areas:
+ Time and Attendance
+ Worker’s Comp Management
+ Employee Benefits and Open Enrollment
+ Employee Engagement Activities
+ Leaves of Absence
•Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree preferred.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
•Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
•SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or the equivalent in knowledge level.

•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Golden State will cover the full cost for the first month of your medical and dental benefits. After the first month, your medical and dental premium contributions will be deducted out of your paycheck.
