HRIS Administrator

Reports to: Human Resources General Manager
Location: Dalton, GA
Classification: Hourly, non-exempt (12-month contract)
SUMMARY
The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Administrator will support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Conduct massive data collection and transfer electronic files.
•Provide systematic support through various programming languages.
•Prepare and maintain HR related documentation, statistics, and reports.
•Oversees and maintains optimal function of organization's HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
•Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
•Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
•Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
•Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
•Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
•Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
•Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
•Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
•Performs other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Proficient knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, Python, etc.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•Knowledge of HRIS business process configurations
•Ability to build and modify custom HCM reports and calculated fields
•Knowledge of creating, loading, and troubleshooting EIBs
•Familiarity with Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
•Ability to keep information confidential
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
•Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
•Appropriately handles sensitive matters and maintains confidentiality
•Works well in a demanding and fast-paced environment, both independently as well as effectively within a team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
•Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc.
•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required
•2 plus years of related experience preferred.
