Job Summary
The human resource administrator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, onboarding, policy enforcement, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.
Essential Functions
•Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; adheres to personnel policies and procedures; assists in and facilitates associate policy training.
•Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
•Administers weekly and bi-weekly payroll and reports. Includes reviewing time sheets, reconciling payroll and submitting to corporate payroll department.
•Assist with recruitment processes and conduct job fairs as needed.
•Assists in benefits administration, including claims resolution, employee enrollment, and communicating benefits information to employees.
•Onboarding to include completing pre-employment processes, conducting new-employee orientations and being an advocate for new associates.
•Assist with employee recognition events and community involvement.
•Maintains personnel database to include data entry of new hires, job title and pay changes, personal information updates, terminations, etc.
•Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
•Monitors and documents employee attendance.
•Maintains human resource records/files and compiles reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
•Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
•Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions within the organization.

This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Lifting of up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
1. Full-time, hourly position in office at Goodman, MO facility
2. Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts
3. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
Travel
Minimal travel required.
Required Experience
•H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
•At least three years of HR experience with preference being in a manufacturing environment
•Experience and understanding of labor laws
