This is an extremely fast paced, high volume, administrative heavy role that requires intense attention to detail, accuracy and communication. We are looking for someone that takes pride in the experience for every new hire, that is communicative, collaborative and willing to own every aspect of the position.
Essential Functions:
•Organize and lead orientation sessions, introducing new hires to the company culture, mission, policies, and their role-specific expectations.
•Act as the primary point of contact for all new employees throughout the onboarding period, offering guidance, support, and clarity on various matters.
•Prepare, collect, and review onboarding documentation, ensuring all legal and organizational requirements are met.
•Explain critical policies and procedures, including code of conduct, attendance, safety guidelines, dress code, and parking procedures.
•Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure workstations, system access, and equipment are ready for each new hire.
•Monitor completion of all onboarding tasks via a structured checklist, including pre-employment screenings, background checks, and compliance forms.
•Conduct regular follow-ups with new hires to ensure timely completion of requirements while maintaining engagement.
•Maintain accurate onboarding records and assist in continuous improvement of onboarding workflows and materials.
•Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and sourcing through interviews, offers, and onboarding handoff.
•Facilitate a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process, maintaining clear communication and responsiveness.
•Enter new hire information into HRIS systems (e.g., ADP) and ensure internal documentation and communication protocols are followed for both new hires and terminations.
•Support internal communications regarding staffing updates and maintain organizational charts.
•Execute all offboarding tasks using the company’s Termination Checklist to ensure compliance and proper closure of employment files.

Knowledge & Skills required:
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
•Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in human resources and related areas that provide the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities.
•Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred; Experience using Greenhouse preferred.
•Proficiency with HRIS platforms required; Experience with ADP preferred.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
•Excellent organizational and time management abilities; able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities effectively.
•Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues during the onboarding process with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
•Knowledge of HR compliance requirements and best practices in onboarding and recruiting.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other standard workplace software tools.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments to support hiring managers and new hires.
•Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee data.
•Experience supporting construction and field employee groups, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
•Commitment to “open door” and comfort with production floor presence and contact with all field employees.
•Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors to use company practices for maximum effectiveness.
•Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation.
•Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities.
