Project Overview:
We are seeking versatile and motivated HR professionals to support our HR department during a major transformation project. This is a 24-month contingent opportunity, ideal for individuals looking to broaden their HR experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
•Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries.
•Advise managers on employee relations, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and HR compliance.
•Partner with Labor Relations and HR Business Partners on escalated employee matters.
•Support full-cycle recruitment, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and processing offers.
•Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
•Update and maintain employee data in SAP/HRIS systems.
•Support HR programs such as benefits, leave administration, workers’ compensation, and performance management.
•Ensure legal and policy compliance across HR operations.
•Organize internal meetings, events, and HR-led initiatives.
Required Skills:
•Strong knowledge or ability to learn union protocols (IBEW) and labor relations practices.
•Experience working with both salaried and union-represented employees.
•High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
•Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
•Ability to handle a dynamic workload and prioritize effectively.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and HR systems.
Education & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree required (HR or Business preferred).
•Minimum 2 years of HR generalist experience preferred.
•Experience in union environments or electric utility industry is an advantage.
•PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
