Hotel Maintenance Assistant

A Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Chief Maintenance Engineer in the overall maintenance of the hotel’s building and grounds and the operation of its equipment and basic repairs. This position is responsible for helping to maintain a safe and secure hotel.

Responsibilities

· Inspect Hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards

· Complete daily work orders which can include; painting, drywall, door adjustments, minor plumbing and electrical work, HVAC maintenance, etc.)

· Performing preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis

· Assisting in servicing the hotel’s pool, including adjusting chemicals, vacuuming, and cleaning filters

· Maintaining and upkeep of the outside of the property (e.g. trash removal, maintenance of cigarette butt removal, cleaning of parking lot, leaf blowing, maintenance of flower pots and boxes, etc.)

· Assisting with the set up and breakdown of hotel events/meetings

· Maintaining Hampton service and product standards
