Job Overview
We are seeking a driven, resourceful, and detail-oriented Hotel Rooms and Meeting Space Sales Coordinator to join our high-performing sales team. This key role supports both proactive and reactive sales efforts, focusing on maximizing hotel occupancy, meeting space bookings, and group business. The successful candidate will support daily sales operations, manage inquiries, assist with business development, and maintain strong online and offline sales strategies. The role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality, marketing, and client engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
•Conduct outbound calls, prospecting, and follow-ups to generate new leads for hotel rooms, events, and corporate clients.
•Coordinate and participate in sales visits to local companies, associations, event planners, and corporate offices.
•Assist in responding to RFPs and preparing customized proposals for group and meeting space bookings.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing corporate clients and travel planners.
•Track market trends and competitor offerings to proactively adjust sales tactics and identify new business segments.
Sales Strategy & Collateral Development
•Collaborate with marketing to design and develop updated sales brochures, presentations, promotional materials, and event packages.
•Maintain and enhance the hotel’s presence on third-party platforms (Cvent, HotelPlanner, etc.) and ensure online listings are current, compelling, and competitive.
•Monitor digital inquiries and convert leads into bookings through timely responses and tailored communications.
•Ensure all branded sales content aligns with hotel standards and speaks to targeted market segments.
Administrative & CRM Support
•Manage and update customer and prospect records in Salesforce (or other CRM platforms), ensuring accurate tracking of communications and sales stages.
•Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, tracking key performance indicators, conversion rates, and ROI of campaigns.
•Coordinate internal communications between departments (operations, front desk, housekeeping, F&B) to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and events.
•Assist with contract drafting, negotiations, and coordination of signed agreements.
•Maintain organized files of contracts, proposals, banquet event orders, and billing information.
Qualifications and Experience
•2+ years of experience in hotel sales, meeting/event space sales, or hospitality business development.
•Strong understanding of hotel room and group sales operations.
•Proven experience generating and converting corporate leads.
•Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
•Knowledge of Salesforce, Cvent, or similar CRM/event management tools.
•Comfortable creating marketing materials and sales collateral using PowerPoint, Canva, or similar tools.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
•Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
•Experience with Gorilla Sales Technique or similar aggressive outbound sales methods.
•Knowledge of SEO, PPC, and digital advertising platforms related to hospitality sales.
•Familiarity with social media advertising and engagement as a sales tool.
•Bilingual or multilingual communication skills (preferred but not required).
