Carolinas Full-Time Day Shift - approximate shift times of 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Wages starting at $21.00/hr for entry level candidates. Experienced candidates will be eligible to start at higher pay. Pay will be determined based on experience and skill set. Rogers Group

is seeking a

Heavy Equipment Operator

for our operation located in

South Carolina

Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

- Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery including dozer, excavator, front end loader, dredge, Backhoe, Broom, Asphalt Roller, Asphalt Screed, Paver, Motor Grader and general work around the asphalt operations.

- Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies

- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management

- Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency

- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment

- Other duties as assigned by management


Required Qualifications

- Individual must be dedicated to always operating safely

- Individual must be willing to perform any task required at quarry

- Must be able to identify an alert management to maintenance issues with equipment

- Ability to compete pre-operation inspection paperwork

- Experience operating heavy equipment required

- Flexibility to work overtime and weekend when necessary

- Team player attitude

- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
