Goldrush - Underground Mining Engineer I

Position Description:

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Engineer I at our Goldrush operation. Execution of some aspects of small and medium sized projects, including planning, justification, engineering, design.

Responsibilities:

- Demonstrated ability to interact with both engineering and operational teams outside of direct organizational structure required. Candidate must possess ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization in both written and verbal means.

- Demonstrated capacity to execute and hold self and others accountable for results required

- The right candidate must be willing to rotate into new positions as development opportunities come available

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience required

- One (1) to two (2) years' experience in the mining industry with exposure to underhand drift and fill and long hole stoping preferred

- Knowledge of underground mining methods and design preferred

- Knowledge and experience with underground design tools, specifically Deswik .sched and .CAD and Vulcan preferred

- Strong computer skills required

- The right candidate must be willing to rotate into new positions as development opportunities come available
