Glass Installer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Glass Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with residential installations, particularly showers and railings, and the ability to take accurate on-site measurements. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Glass Installer will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations that meet safety standards and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Install glass in residential shower enclosures and railing systems.

- Take precise measurements to ensure proper fit and finish.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing glass.

- Apply sealants and caulking to ensure watertight and secure installations.

- Repair or restore existing glass installations when required.

- Coordinate with other trades (e.g., drywall, flooring) to ensure smooth project completion.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

- Communicate professionally with clients regarding project scope and timelines.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Glass Installer (residential showers and railings preferred).

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to glass installation.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

- Knowledge of sealing and caulking techniques.

- Familiarity with drywall, flooring, or tile installation is an asset (not required).

- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

- Physical ability to lift heavy glass and work in varied conditions.

- Reliable, professional, and committed to high-quality craftsmanship.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.30-$38.10 per hour
