- Perform geotechnical analysis and studies to assess mitigation options for geohazards (e.g., seismic analysis, karst evaluation).
- Plan and conduct geotechnical explorations.
- Design foundations, retaining walls, horizontal directional drills, and slope stability using appropriate calculations.
- Assist in proposal development and cost/schedule estimation for investigations.
- Provide direction to technical teams during field inspections.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Support Program Manager in design and evaluation of construction documents.
- Develop design drawings and specifications for construction projects.
- Review and approve geotechnical designs from external consultants.
- Evaluate construction design proposals for geotechnical compliance.
- Assess team performance and identify training needs to meet objectives.
- BS in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience required.
- FE certification required; PE license highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with engineering, procurement, and construction projects is desirable.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with relevant software applications.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
