Job Description

American Iron & Metal, has an opening for an enthusiastic individual to fill a General Labourer/Brakeman position at our Transloading Facility in Moncton.

Duties Will Include:

- Working outside in all weather conditions

- Performing Brakeman duties weighing, placing and shipping rail cars

- Assist trucks in to the unloading position and helping Operators in small tasks around the heavy equipment

- Manage the car inventory and keeping track of material

- Other general labour duties will apply

Qualifications

- Rail 105 considered an asset

- Previous recycling experience is considered an asset

- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

- Ability to work in all weather conditions

- Must be able to lift up-to 50lbs

- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team orientated environment

- Ability to work in a loud, dusty environment

Additional Information

We Offer:

- Full time hours with potential overtime, paid after 44 hours

- Shifts run Monday - Friday (potential weekends)
