What You’ll Do

As a Forklift Operator on our Weekend shift (5:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Friday-Sunday), you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring materials flow seamlessly through our shop. Your responsibilities will include:

- Safe Material Handling: Operate sit-down forklifts to transport raw materials, steel beams, and finished products (up to 10,000 lbs) with precision.

- Inventory Management: Load/unload trucks, stage materials for fabrication, and maintain accurate inventory records.

- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs to keep operations running smoothly.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to support production schedules and meet project deadlines.

- Safety First: Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

What We’re Looking For

We need a reliable, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a hands-on role. Our ideal candidate brings:

- Experience: 2+ years of forklift operation in a manufacturing, warehouse, or fabrication environment.

- Certification: Valid forklift certification (OSHA-compliant; we can assist with recertification if needed).

- Skills: Proficient in operating forklifts with loads up to 10,000 lbs, with strong spatial awareness and load-balancing expertise.

- Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a fast-paced, industrial setting.

- Team Spirit: Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset to support our tight-knit crew.

- Bonus Points: Experience in structural steel fabrication, overhead crane operation, or basic inventory software.
