- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift within designated guidelines
- Load and unload materials from trucks
- Transport materials across the facility in a safe, organized manner
- Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation
- Assist with general plant operations and maintenance tasks
- Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any issues
- Maintain awareness and take action to prevent hazards
- Demonstrate reliable and consistent attendance
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment
- MUST HAVE previous forklift experience
- Strong desire to learn new responsibilities and grow with the company
- Ability to work independently with a positive, safety-focused attitude
- Reliable performance, punctuality, and attendance
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check
- Exposure to machinery, outdoor weather conditions, and vibration
- Frequent wet or humid conditions; loud work environment
- Typical schedule: 8–12 hour shifts, 5–7 days/week during peak season; occasional night work
- Frequent walking, standing, sitting, and reaching (waist to shoulder height)
- Occasional lifting/pushing/pulling 50–75 lbs
- Occasional bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing
- Ability to maintain required vision (close, distance, depth perception)
