Logistics Forklift Operator

Sark Wire is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Logistics Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods efficiently within the warehouse.

Start and end times will vary depending on the truck schedule for the day. Candidates must be available to work any time between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts with capacities of 10,000 lbs and above.

- Support both production and logistics operations by transporting materials, equipment, and finished goods.

- Prioritize logistics needs, while assisting the production department with internal transport during slower periods.

- Load and unload trucks and trailers.

- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and ensure forklifts are maintained in safe and operational condition.

- Keeping the environment tidy, organizing the reels, pallets, and miscellaneous items near the dumpster.

- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and forklift usage.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating forklifts with a capacity of 10,000 lbs or above.

- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA).

- Strong understanding of safe forklift operation practices.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- A clean driving record is preferred.
