Food Service

- Prepare and serve all food products according to company standards and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be courteous and friendly at all times to customers, co-workers, managers, and

Supervisors.

- Wear uniform and be neat in appearance. Wear close toed, rubber soled shoes and socks. No nose rings, lip rings, or offensive jewelry.

- Practice good personal hygiene. Wear hair restraints.

- Practice proper hand washing and glove wearing procedures.

- Have exceptional communicating skills.

- Assist customers who have problems or questions.

- Perform housekeeping duties: cleaning shelves, fast food area, floors, cooler,

backroom, restrooms, equipment and surfaces, etc.

- Complete all tracking sheets, shift checkouts, specific task related reports as required.

- Stock merchandise. Build displays. Merchandise products.

- Check in vendors.

- Perform any other task requested by manager or supervisor.

FOOD SERVICE RELATED DUTIES:

- Prepare and serve all food products with established food safety handling procedures.

- Follow all “Pull & Thaw” procedures.

- Follow all product dating procedures.

- Maintain food service area and equipment in clean and sanitary conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS REQUIRED:

- You will be required to have exceptional communication skills: Communicating

with customers, Fellow Team Players, and Management 100% of the shift.

- You will be required to be in full uniform 100% of the shift.

- You will be required to be able to stand 95 to 100% of the shift.

- You will be required to be able to walk 75 to 80% of the shift. Going from one

transaction area to another and while doing cleaning.

- You will be required to be able to lift and carry 15 to 45 lbs while filling

products in coolers, freezers and setting up displays and putting away stock.

- You will be required to be able to do some kneeling, bending at waist, and

reaching.

- You will be required to have normal hearing ability for good customer care.

- You will be required to go outside to pump gas, empty trash, empty grease, clean lot.

- You will be required to have acute seeing in order to watch all activity in and out of the store.

MENTAL DEMANDS REQUIRED:

- You will be required to understand and carry out oral instructions.

- You will be required to read and carry out simple written instructions.

- You will be required to read cleaning lists, schedules, shift sheets, tank readings,

lottery tickets, food handling procedures.

- You will be required to read and verify numbers, labels, temperatures etc.

- You will be required to observe and read many different kinds of convenience

store equipment.

- You will be required to prepare reports, such as shift sheets, damage,

attendance, incident, food tracking sheets, etc.

- You will be required to have exceptionally good mathematic skills for counting

and handling cash and credit cards.

- You will be required to have exceptionally good mental ability to handle many

different kinds of dispositions.

ATTITUDE REQUIRED:

- You will be required to be nice and pleasant to all persons in your behavior.

- You will be required to treat others in a positive way. Rudeness, whining,

grumpiness, sarcasm, creating social drama, etc. are not acceptable.
