Fluid Technician

ABOUT THE JOB

Fluid Technicians at UltraLite Solutions value safety, accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. We are looking for individuals with lightweight mud experience to help expand our business. Our low-density fluid system allows us to maintain a clean wellbore for our customers during plug drill-out and well bore intervention operations. UltraLite Solutions’ Fluid Technicians accomplish this by providing a unique chemical package with knowledgeable chemistry support, sand separation service, surface fluid volume management, and data recording. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform daily mud checks and monitoring

- Working with laboratory equipment and recording data

- Maintaining and operating equipment such as pumps and generators

- Complete daily reports and Team updates

- Manage equipment and mud inventory on location

- Calculating chemical dosing and wellbore volumes

- Valve and manifold operation to moving fluid from one tank to another

- Represent UltraLite in a professional and safety-oriented capacity

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 2 years Oil & Gas Experience

- Knowledge of water transfer and chemical pumps

- Strong mathematics skills

- Strong Microsoft competency (Outlook, Excel, Teams)

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions critical

- Flexibility for changing systems required

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting a must

- Prefer Midland residents, but will provide housing for qualified candidates from out of the area

- Ability to pass background check and drug screen

- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record

SALARY:

$24/hr

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

- mud systems: 1 year (Preferred)

- oilfield: 3 years (Preferred)
