Fluid Specialist

Job description

Innospec is adding an experienced Field Fluid Specialist to our team in South & West Texas. This position works a rotating schedule of 14 days on and 7 days off. A company truck, per diem, and lodging are provided while on rotation.

Job Duties:

- Conduct field test on water, testing for Iron, Chlorites, Sulfates, Calcium Carbonates, PH, Specific Gravity, and Temperature and properly record and report findings.

- Run tests on chemicals and acid delivered to site. Record amount of Chemicals acid and additives delivered to location using measured amounts from equipment operator

- Ensure proper amount of water and quality of water through field testing.

- Good understanding of the hazmat table, knowing and understanding the bill of lading (BOL), and knowing what how to use the placards.

- Keep paperwork current; maintenance sheets, fuel logs, log books, pre/post trips and responsible for maintaining and helping with repairing equipment

- Ability to verbally communicate and understand details and directions.

- Ability to proficiently operate all equipment on location including auxiliary equipment, knowledgeable and understands performance of all job duties on location.

- Performs work requiring advanced knowledge, and requires specialized instruction

- Maintain safety standards in shop, yard, on location and while traveling and report all hazards or potentially hazardous situations to Supervisor
